Long Time

Well we haven't had a computer for awhile, ours broke, but it is back now. So not much has happened since my last post. We have started dog training up again. I'm really enjoying getting out every week. Mom has had to work a lot with the other kids, so I have been working on my down stay. Then this week the leader decided it was time to start a distraction for the new dogs. So while all the dogs were working on heeling in a circle around the room I was put on a stay outside the circle. Then once mom was in the middle of the room she called me, of course I came running. Mom was scared I wasn't going to stop, but just slam into her. Everyone thought my sliding stop was so cute, they kept telling mom how cool it was & that I'm a good boy. Next week we are supposed to start the broad jump practice again. Maybe this year I will do it right in the ring. The leader is trying to talk mom into going to the highest level with me, utility. I think we are gonna stick with Grad Novice though.

Fletcher's Visit

So I finally got to see Fletcher again! It has been three & a half years since they graduated and I've seen them once since then (they only live 2 hours away). I walked in the door & he was bouncing all over the place, thrilled to see me again. Once Beth got ready we all went to lunch, Fletcher was a little to excited so Beth didn't work him, just went sighted guide. After lunch he had calmed down enough that Beth worked him this time. We went back to the house, took some pictures & then just hung out for awhile. It was awesome to see my puppy & Beth again. Enjoy the pictures.

Kennedy

I just wanted to wish Kennedy, my first pup, a very Happy Birthday! Kennedy & his brothers are all seven as of January 2nd!

Happy New Year!

So I finally came home from mom's parents house yesterday morning. Then that night we went back to bring in the new year. I of course got the couch & crashed before midnight, but I was awake when everyone was saying "Happy New Year". Becky was baby sitting a little five month old, so cute. I was a good baby sitter too & kept checking in on the baby. Some of them chased me off, but mom knew I wouldn't hurt him. Then when he was screaming I was concerned so I just stood there starring at him & looking back at mom, hoping she would help him.

Then today mom went home after lunch, but left me here. She says it is because she will be going to Denver all day to see Fletcher, the pup she raised before me. I'm sure she will post pictures when she gets home. Happy New Year everyone.
